Byron Bay is very popular with tourists - famous for its relaxed way of living.

Cape Byron is the most Easterly point of Australia. There is a lighthouse - with the biggest light bulb in Australia. Lots of people see dolphins and whales from the Cape.

Byron used to be a whaling station - now people go there for the surfing, the music and the nightlife.
