What Research?

"English at the Beach" is a new experience for the teachers at Preston Reservoir Adult Community Education (PRACE). So we want to learn more about how it works.

We want to learn about the experience of the students and teachers using this web-site. We want to improve our ideas and find out more about what people want.

Some of the questions we are asking:

• Does the web-site help people learn about language, about the beach in Australia, about learning, reading and writing?
• Do people work alone, or in groups, when they use the web-site?

One of the authors of this site, Michael Chalk, is studying this site for his schoolwork. He is enrolled in a Minor Thesis by Research, at Victoria University of Technology (VUT).
